About 2-Term Pathway - International Incorporated Masters in Health and Sciences - Continue to Master of Science - Psychological Wellbeing
De Montfort University International College (DMUIC) offers a postgraduate pathway. The Pre-Master's is the first stage of the International Incorporated Masters (IIM) and is delivered at DMUIC.
The IIM is helpful for students who want extra support during their postgraduate studies. Throughout the IIM, students will be given support with their English language training and taught academic skills to bring them to postgraduate success. In addition to project work and tests, students will be given feedback in person and in writing so that they know how they are doing, and how to improve.
Master of Science - Psychological Well-being
A rapidly expanding field worldwide, Psychological Well-being evaluates the factors that characterise and influence mental health and wellbeing, nurturing students' understanding of the cultural, social and economic contexts in which they develop.
Many of DMU's experienced academic team have expertise in the specific domains of wellbeing, which are embedded within the course, including developmental psychology, occupational psychology, health psychology, clinical psychology, counselling psychology and cognitive/biological psychology.
Benefit from occasional contributions from practitioners and academics working within a variety of wellbeing related settings such as work, education and health. Teaching facilities include dedicated laboratory and practical work areas, an observation suite and a vision research laboratory.
