6 Weeks Pre-Sessional English + 3-Term Pathway - Incorporated Bachelor Year Zero in Art and Design - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Fashion Textile Design

A strong emphasis is placed on nurturing research, conceptual, creative and technical skills, coupled with the development of essential fashion skills such as pattern cutting, construction and fashion illustration. At DMU they aim to encourage students to become conversant in a broad fashion context, whilst honing their specialist textile design skills. The course encourages students to show a commitment to the practice of design that is forward thinking, innovative and original.

The course believes on creating an environment of choice, allowing people to determine their own creative direction. Students will have the option to choose or mix technical specialisms, in many differing contexts, allowing students to direct their studies as appropriate to their style, context, technical skills and market focus.
