6 Weeks Pre-Sessional English + 3-Term Pathway - Incorporated Bachelor Year Zero in Business and Law - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Finance and Investment

Students can get the perfect start to their degree at De Montfort University with the International Year Zero (IYZ). Students will take an extra year of study at De Montfort University International College (DMUIC) in order to complete a degree at DMU. Students who take the IYZ will continue to the first year of study of their chosen International Incorporated Bachelor's degree programme at DMU. 

This delivery of the IYZ programme includes a six week pre-sessional English course immediately preceding entry to the programme. Throughout the pre-sessional English and IYZ programme, students will be supported at DMUIC. Students will have individual subject tutors who will make sure that they are on track to achieve their study goals. Students will be given feedback both in person and in writing so that they always know how they are doing, and how to improve. Students will also be assessed through regular tests and exams.

Finance and Investment will prepare you to excel in a career within the broad financial sector, including financial management, investment banking and equity trading. The degree programme is designed with special focus on practical perspective and employability orientation.

This Finance and Investment BSc course provides a rigorous academic approach to finance with a focus on practical skills and employability. This course will equip students with the advanced technical skillset, knowledge, and professional attitude necessary to excel in a career in the financial sector. The course is a member of the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Affiliation Program, and the curriculum prepares students well to sit the CFA examinations to obtain one of the most reputable professional qualifications in the finance and investment industry.
