Deakin University's Bachelor of Nursing /Bachelor of Midwifery course provides the knowledge, skills, and ethical understanding students need to become a successful registered nurse and midwife– launching them into a career where they can make a real difference. This course prepares students to provide both high quality woman-centered midwifery care and patient-centered nursing care. Midwives play an invaluable role in supporting women across the continuum of pregnancy, labor and birth and the first weeks following birth.
