International Year One - Undergraduate Pathway - General (5-Semester Pathway) Transfer to Bachelor of Arts - History

International Year One allows students to begin earning credits toward their degree even if they don’t meet the academic and English requirements for direct entry. They will receive additional support to help them succeed and progress to their degree path so they can graduate at the same time as direct entry students.

History is the research and interpretation of human experience in the past. Our students learn to do history itself: to locate evidence, develop original arguments in response to the views of others and use evidence to support one’s own interpretation of the past. It is our great hope that our students continue to draw on modes of historical reasoning and research whatever they may do in life after graduation.
