3 Term Pathway - International Foundation Year - Humanities, Law and Social Science - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Education Studies - Geography

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Durham University International Study Centre located at Queen's Campus, in Stockton on Tees. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Durham University. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the Durham University, Durham City campus in a range of subjects related to the humanities, law or social sciences.

After completing this pathway, students will transfer to the BA in Education Studies - Geography. Education Studies is a broad multi-disciplinary degree, designed for the intellectually and practically curious. From the philosophical foundations of schooling, to the political implications of policy, education is a vast field that has multiple avenues to approach a seemingly straightforward subject. Our degree program goes far beyond any classroom and considers education, people and their relationship to the ever-changing world.
