The FIU Global First Year Program combines credit-bearing courses from the first year of a student’s degree with additional support services, instruction tailored to their academic and language level, and cultural experiences, all aimed at ensuring their future success. The Global First Year experience not only fosters academic, language, and cultural growth but also includes the Career Accelerator program, which provides valuable professional skills to prepare students for successful careers.
