Diploma of Health Sciences (075188G) +Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (067746D)

The Diploma in Health Sciences provides a good grounding in the many disciplines that exist within the field of health science. While the main focus is on biological and biochemical subjects, candidates will studies will extend into chemistry, cell biology and anatomy. They will develop strong foundations for entry into the second year of a number of Griffith University degree level programs in health sciences.

The Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics will help students develop knowledge and skills to work as a dietitian and learn how to help improve the health of individuals and the community. They will learn through extensive hands-on experience in state-of-the-art facilities, including a purpose-built teaching kitchen and a nutrition clinic in the Griffith Health Centre.
