Diploma of Health Sciences (075188G) + Bachelor of Pharmacy (1395) (077649M)

The Health Sciences program provides a good grounding in the many disciplines that exist within the field of health science. While the main focus is on biological and biochemical subjects, studies will extend into chemistry, cell biology and anatomy. Students will develop strong foundations for entry into the second year of a number of Griffith University degree level programs in health sciences. 

Bachelor of Pharmacy will put students on the path to a career in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or nutraceutical industries. Students will learn through hands-on experience in state-of-the-art facilities (formulation, pharmacology and analytical laboratories) and during professional practice placements at the new Gold Coast University Hospital and other clinical settings. They will take specialist courses in areas such as pharmacy management, complementary and alternative medicine, and pharmacology.
