About Associate of Science - Computer and Electrical Engineering

The Associate of Science (AS-T Track II MRP)-Computer and Electrical Engineering degree is a transfer degree designed to prepare students for admission into computer and electrical engineering programs at participating baccalaureate institutions with junior status standing.

Computer and electrical engineers work at the forefront of computer and practical technology and help design and improve the technology we use in our everyday lives, health care, aerospace, and so much more. Studying computer or electrical engineering is a combination of science, mathematics, and computing. Upon graduation, students will:
  • Have completed the necessary coursework to apply to an engineering program at a four-year college or university.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Have been introduced to the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
