The criminal justice program at Illinois State examines policing, courts, and corrections. This is achieved with a social science point of view. Students will explore human behavior and take an in-depth look at the issues and circumstances that lead to crime, giving them a well-rounded perspective. Students will also gain the skills needed to be successful in their careers. The program will teach them how to interview, develop programs, promote community well-being, and analyze crime hotspots.
