Bridge Course - Transfer to Undergraduate Programs at NSCAD University

This 8-week course involves in-class work and assignments in order to achieve full marks in the component of the General Bridge program. The course consists of vocabulary development and academic reading and writing. It is well integrated (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking) and provides a well-rounded program of study. The students will complete related reading and writing topics that are assigned in class or as homework. During the Friday seminars, the emphasis is placed on developing specialized language according to students’ fields of studies.

These courses are designed to fully prepare students with the academic English and study skills necessary to succeed in various university/college programs. An important part of ICEAP program, these bridge courses are appreciated and endorsed by its partner institutions. After successfully completing a Bridge program, students do not need to pass IELTS, TOEFL or GMAT and get guaranteed admission to NSCAD University.
