2-Semester Foundation Pathway in Health Sciences - Continue to Master of Dietetics

As a Dietitian students will be registered health professionals who uses knowledge about food, science and the human body in health and disease to educate and give practical advice to patients, colleagues, clients, carers and the general public. Students will have the ability to work with patients to change lives, and contribute to the welfare of society.

This course will allow students to extend their competence, knowledge and skills beyond those required of an entry-level practitioner in order to enhance their employability and prospects, and support the public health agenda.

Students will develop skills in empowering individuals, groups and communities to change diet and lifestyle behaviours, and will practice skills through simulated and inter-professional learning opportunities. Uniquely, students will have the chance to select an elective module, and to earn additional qualifications as they complete the course.
