2.5-Term Pre-Master's for Business, Law and Social Sciences - Continue to Master of Arts - International Politics

For students who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help them gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at City, University of London. The course length is determined mainly by English language level (UKVI IELTS score).

Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take additional modules designed to improve one or more of their English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.

Master of Arts - International Politics

The International Politics MA programme is for students who want to explore international politics & international relations more widely. It is designed to help them drill down and follow their specific interests and specialise their knowledge. The course has been designed to give students the chance to pursue their own questions about the way the world works – and to shape arguments where they feel it doesn’t.

The knowledge and skills students develop during the course will enable them to explore a number of rewarding career options – from supporting NGOs to working with the civil service or media.
