Program Description
If you hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help you gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at the University of York. Your course length is determined mainly by your English language level (UKVI IELTS score).
Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If your course is longer than 2 terms, you’ll take additional modules designed to improve one or more of your English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.
Master of Science - Engineering Management
Students can develop their innovation and analytical skills to become an effective manager with an engineering firm.
All new technologies, products and services require careful management to take them from the concept stage to commercial success. This course will enable students to operate within a strategically important part of professional engineering, irrespective of the technical area.
The course is taught by internationally leading experts and practising managers to ensure students master not only the theory of management tools and techniques, but also how they are applied in real engineering situations.
