Postgraduate Certificate in Education - Secondary Teaching leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Physical Education (3CL9)

Students will be trained by leading practitioners and develop practical skills that form an important part of teaching. They will also develop a deeper understanding of key areas of subject knowledge in PE. The course will explore the curricular requirements associated with PE for 11–16-year-olds, as well as the key GCSE examinations.

The PE components of the course will allow students to examine their values and principles and then look at how these translate into meaningful learner and learning led physical education.
