About Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - English and Creative Writing
The best writers are great readers. Explore the principles of great literature. Let their imagination take flight and develop their own creative voice, producing short stories, autobiographical writing, poetry and script. Students will be taught by award-winning writers (poets, fiction writers and playwrights), and graduate with a recognised degree and employable skills in literary research and creative communications.
The final year offers a chance to work on an extended creative writing project, where students will collaborate with your peers to produce an anthology and plan a related launch event. In addition, they can choose from a range of other modules in literature, including Life Writing and Experimental Writing. Across three years, the course introduces you to a range of literary and writing contexts, enabling them to develop the ability to respond creatively to the world around them.
