Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Working with Children, Young People and Families

The social care sector is experiencing growth, providing increased employment opportunities for individuals interested in working with children, young people, and families. This course aims to enhance students' skills and knowledge to effectively work in various settings with individuals of all ages, assisting them in reaching their full potential. The curriculum begins by focusing on local contexts and progresses to address national and global issues. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of contemporary society and its impact on individuals. Additionally, there is the option to transfer to the BA (Hons) Youth Work & Community Development (JNC) or BSc (Hons) Social Care, Justice & Recovery course after completing the first year, without the need to repeat modules.
