Bachelor of Laws LLB (Honours) - Law

This program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of legal systems, rules, and practices that govern society and commercial relationships. Students will develop skills in analysis, legal reasoning, evaluation, and advocacy. As students of Leeds Law School, they will have access to a wide range of law textbooks online for free through Law Trove, a subscription-only service offered by Oxford University Press.

Recognized by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board, this qualifying law degree meets the academic requirements for legal training. Completion of the course enables students to pursue further study to become a solicitor or barrister.

The course also offers the opportunity for a 'sandwich' year, allowing students to gain paid industry experience between their second and third year of study. This additional year can enhance skills, confidence, and job prospects. Leeds Beckett University provides support in finding suitable placement opportunities for students.
