2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Business, Law and Social Studies - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Sport Development at Leeds Beckett University

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Leeds Beckett University. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge in business, economics and mathematics, as well as the English language skills necessary for success in an undergraduate program at Leeds Beckett University. Once a student completes this course they will be suitable for progression options in areas such as business, law, marketing and public relations.

After completing this pathway, students will transition to the BA Sport Development program. Fire your passion for sport and help to transform lives and shape communities. Sport development officers provide opportunities for participation in sport for all sections of society and encourage people to lead healthier lives. You will examine management and leadership styles and attributes as you learn how to attract investment and develop inclusive sporting pursuits that benefit disadvantaged and under-represented social groups and communities. You will develop the confidence to challenge inequalities in sport, and you will hone your teamwork and planning skills so that you can lead on sporting projects to improve participation rates.
