2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Science, Engineering and Computing - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business Economics at Leeds Beckett University

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Leeds Beckett University. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge in sciences and mathematics, as well as the English language skills necessary for success in an undergraduate program at Leeds Beckett University. Once a student completes this course they will be suitable for progression options in areas such as computing, biomedical sciences and civil engineering.

After completing this pathway, students will transition to the BA Business and Economics program. This course has a strong vocational focus and will develop key skills in economics, accounting and management. You will explore the principles of economics and how they apply to business, and you will gain both a theoretical and practical understanding of the economic decisions faced by business managers. You will also develop the ability to analyse the economic and social environments in which those decisions are taken.
