2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Science, Engineering and Computing - Transfer to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Creative Media Technology at Leeds Beckett University

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Leeds Beckett University. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge in sciences and mathematics, as well as the English language skills necessary for success in an undergraduate program at Leeds Beckett University. Once a student completes this course they will be suitable for progression options in areas such as computing, biomedical sciences and civil engineering.

After completing this pathway, students will transition to the BSc - Creative Media Technology program. This practical course is aimed at creative and dynamic individuals with a passion for modern digital technology. Students will focus on the creative application of technology and you will use industry-standard software packages in our professional studios.

Students will learn how to produce effective designs, websites, apps, short films and animations while working as part of a production team. They will build a substantial portfolio of work and will have the chance to develop relationships with future employers at our showcase event, where students will display their final-year project and network with industry professionals.
