2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Science, Engineering and Computing - Transfer to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sports Coaching at Leeds Beckett University

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Leeds Beckett University International Study Centre. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Leeds Beckett University. In an international foundation year students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program.

This International Foundation Year provides the subject knowledge in sciences and mathematics, as well as the English language skills necessary for success in an undergraduate program at Leeds Beckett University. Once a student completes this course they will be suitable for progression options in areas such as computing, biomedical sciences and civil engineering.

After completing this pathway, students will transition to the BSc - Sports Coaching program. Helping people achieve their potential is one of the most satisfying parts of being a sports coach. This degree is shaped by an established model of coaching adopted by the Football Association and other leading national and international governing bodies. You will develop your key coaching skills by learning to understand your participants and their sport, and how to plan, deliver and review both short and long-term training programs.
