Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Illustration and Animation (Foundation Year) (W241)

London Metropolitan University's Illustration and Animation (including foundation year) BA (Hons) degree is a four-year degree with an in-built foundation year that will provide students with the opportunity to explore a range of creative directions before embarking on more focused study in their subsequent three years of studying illustration and animation.

In the foundation year students will undertake a wide range of projects to help them develop the skills, techniques and work ethic they’ll need to study illustration and animation at undergraduate level. During this year students will work alongside students in other foundation year degrees, giving them a broad range of knowledge across multiple specialisms from drawing and painting to making, performance, textiles and more.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
