About Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Interior Design and Decoration (W262)
The design projects featured in this London Metropolitan University course investigate private, community, commercial and sustainable interior environments. Students will consider the spatial and material relationships within surfaces, furniture, artefacts and textiles. They will develop both graphic and applied decorative making skills to enable the testing, sampling and representation of their ideas.
Using the workshop facilities and expertise, students will work with different materials (hard and soft) and mark-making approaches to experiment and collaborate with other students and experts across a range of related disciplines (including furniture, upholstery, textiles and metals) utilising a breadth of material techniques with traditional and digital workshop processes.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
