Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Photography (Foundation Year) (W123)

London Metropolitan University's Photography (including foundation year) BA (Hons) is a four-year degree that includes an intensive foundation year (Year 0), which will give students the chance to explore a range of creative approaches and build a substantial portfolio of work before they progress to their subsequent years of studying photography.

During the foundation year, students will have the opportunity to explore a number of different artistic directions and gain a broad spectrum of creative skills before going on to specialise more specifically in photography at the end of the first year of study.

Students will begin their foundation year by undertaking a range of short and intensive studio workshops that will allow them to develop key photography skills and techniques. Students will also develop a strong work ethic, which is essential when studying an art-related degree.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
