Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Accounting and Finance (Foundation Year) (N403)

London Metropolitan University's Accounting and Finance (Foundation Year) BA (Hons) degree is a four-year course with a built-in foundation year (Year 0). It’s the ideal course if students are interested in studying accounting and finance at undergraduate level, but they can't meet the entry requirements or don't have the traditional qualifications required to start a standard degree.

Students will learn core business skills and the key principles of accounting, as well as numerical and technological skills that are vital for analysing data.

The teaching staff have academic and professional experience in public audit, taxation, financial reporting, management accounting and information systems. Students will also benefit from visiting industry speakers who are invited to give presentations on contemporary accounting, finance and business-related topics throughout their degree course.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. 

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
