Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Business Management (Top-Up)

This course will provide students with key business skills and the knowledge necessary to succeed in global organisations. Students will study a broad range of subjects such as economics, human resources, marketing and strategy, and apply this theoretical knowledge to real-life contemporary case studies.

Students will also hear from specialist guest lecturers and participate in online business simulations. This will ensure that students graduate with an in-depth understanding of all stages of the business management process, from conceptualisation to strategic evaluation.

During their studies, students will have access to the University's specialist business incubator Accelerator. The Accelerator will give students a chance to exercise their entrepreneurial spirit by participating in workshops and talks. It also has an array of connections with the business world, allowing students to network with the people who are able to elevate them to business success.

Students will be assessed through individual reports, business plans, group presentations and seen/unseen exams. Some modules will require students to produce an e-portfolio including real-life investigations and tasks. The final year dissertation will allow students to utilise all previously learnt knowledge and apply it to a self-designed research study within the subject area. Throughout their studies, students will have one-to-one support from their supervisor.
