About Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Early Childhood Studies (Top-Up)
This is a top-up version of the Early Childhood Studies BA (Hons) degree. A top-up degree is the final year (Level 6) of an undergraduate degree course and is for those who have a foundation degree, Higher National Diploma or equivalent qualification, or those wishing to study the final year of their degree in London.
This degree emphasises the links between theory and practice and highly values the development of professional and academic skills and knowledge.
As well as offering flexible study options the degree includes assessed practice, which means tutors visit and appraise students in professional settings. This appraisal is an important step towards gaining a license to practice.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
