About Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - International Relations and Politics (LL2F)

In this International Relations and Politics BA (Hons) degree, students will explore the relationship between social and political issues around the world today and study the historical events that led to current situations.

London Metropolitan University wants students to tailor their degree so it’s right for them. There will be some core modules where students will learn about important events, theories and structures, but they’ll also have lots of flexibility to explore the topics that are important to them.

Students could choose to study political unrest in the Middle East, the origin of racism and its impact globally to date, how religion affects political unrest around the world, the role of social media in social movements, acts of terrorism, political spin in the UK in relation to Brexit or the global fight for equality.

London Met lecturers are established thinkers and influencers in their specialist topics. From them, students will learn key theories around diplomacy, conflict, authority and ethics.

An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
