About Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Criminology (Foundation Year) (M931)
London Metropolitan University's Criminology (Foundation Year) BSc course is perfect preparation for a career in crime and justice related settings. Students will not only study criminological theories and learn to research the causes and implications of crime, but they’ll also gain valuable academic skills that will help them progress to managerial roles or postgraduate study.
During Year 0 students will improve their critical thinking, essay writing and other academic skills to build their confidence and improve their learning techniques. Students will be supported by a tutor and academic mentor to achieve all of their academic goals and settle into university. In the following three years they’ll engage in academic investigation of the criminal justice system and examine criminological theories.
An International Bright Futures Scholarship in the amount of £3,000 will automatically be applied to eligible students with overseas fee status starting a degree with London Met in the 2024/25 academic year. This scholarship includes a tuition fee reduction for the duration of students' studies and is applicable to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tuition Deposit is £4,000 for all students excluding those from Punjab and Haryana for whom the deposit amount will remain at 50%
