About 3-Term Pathway - Undergraduate Foundation Program - Humanities and Social Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Psychology (Forensic Psychology)

The 3-term program offers successful students guaranteed progression to London South Bank University. Students will study their Foundation program at the ONCampus London South Bank University Centre located at the heart of the London South Bank University campus. This extended program is available for students who do not have the required English language level for the 3-term pathway. It lasts 4 terms and includes an English language module (ELPP) followed by 3 terms of Undergraduate Foundation Program (UFP).

The program is designed to prepare international students who have completed senior secondary education for entry to undergraduate studies at London South Bank University. Upon successful completion of the Undergraduate Foundation Program, students are guaranteed placement on a suitable undergraduate program at the university. The Undergraduate Foundation Program is set at level 3, equivalent to A-level standard in the United Kingdom.

The academic year begins with an English language module, followed by three terms divided into teaching weeks and examination weeks, with half a term dedicated to English language. Students can expect to undertake an average of 21 (up to 25) hours of classroom-based study per week.

English Language is a compulsory component of the timetable, integrated into the teaching of academic subjects for students below the required level for progression. Students at or above the required English level may have a reduced timetable.

Progression is available to the Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Psychology (Forensic Psychology) program, which explores how our brains work and the factors influencing human behavior. The course focuses on forensic and investigative psychology, covering topics such as offender profiling, interview techniques, detecting deception, psychology in the courtroom, and more. Students will specialize in forensic psychology in their final year, with the opportunity to undertake an assessed placement related to the field. Modules are primarily assessed by coursework.
