Students in the G&A program explore a diverse range of topics, gain valuable technical skills, and become competitive job seekers on a global scale upon graduation. Geography majors can pursue either a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Those interested in mapping sciences or physical geography typically opt for the B.S. program, while those interested in human geography choose the B.A. program.

The geography undergraduate program offers a concentration in Geographic Information Science (GIS), providing students with essential training in critical GIS skills for acquiring, managing, analyzing, and presenting spatial data.
