The Bachelor of Arts in International Studies program offers a comprehensive exploration of global issues, with a focus on specific regions or topics such as global diplomacy. Concentrations within the BA International Studies program include Africa, Asia, Environment and Development, Europe, Global Cultures, Global Diplomacy, Global Studies, Latin America, and the Middle East.

The Africa concentration delves into the politics, history, folklore, and culture of Sub-Saharan Africa, a region with significant cultural ties to the United States and a key supplier of resources like cocoa, coffee, and rubber. The economic challenges faced by some African nations underscore the importance of sustainable development efforts.
