Academic Accelerator - Bachelor of Arts - Theatre - Theater Studies

The Extended Accelerator Program (EAP) combines language, culture, and academics to provide students with a deep understanding of life in and out of the American classroom. It includes personalized English-language instruction and tutoring.

Students in the Extended Accelerator program will receive:

The LSU Theatre program aims to support its students by offering rigorous training in performance practices, the history and literature of the stage, and the development of critical, conceptual, and argumentative skills essential to a liberal arts education. The program strives to prepare graduates for careers in both professional and educational theatre, recognizing that theatre is interconnected with wider cultural thought and practices. It encourages a global perspective of performance, with production skills training fostering an understanding of the intellectual and political landscape of the contemporary world.

The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Theatre Studies is designed for students seeking a comprehensive understanding of performance, production, and theatre scholarship.
