About Associate in Applied Arts - Web and Digital Media Design
The Web & Digital Media Design program will prepare students to create responsive web pages and content for many other types of applications, interactive projects and devices.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web animation, motion graphics, content management systems and project management are just a few of the skills students will gain in order to produce a variety of cutting-edge interactive projects. The Web & Digital Media Design also includes courses emphasizing composition, color, typography, interface design and user experience. This will provide students with the front-end design skills needed to give interactive projects the creative advantage. They will have the opportunity to work with real clients and prepare a portfolio of work.
Once admitted to the Web & Digital Media Design program, students may choose to earn an additional associate degree in Visual Communications or Graphic Design with only two more semesters of study.
