About Bachelor of Arts - English
Students will enjoy the personalized academic advising and mentoring from caring staff and faculty, who will guide them through the program and help them shape their career goals. Expect rigorous academic work in small classes, where classmates and professors know every students name. students who choose to combine the English major with teacher education certification, they will receive 150 hours of clinical field experience, to ensure they are well-prepared for their capstone student teaching assignment. Along with teaching on the secondary level, the program prepares students for graduate work in English, law, and for any career that values critical thinking and effective communication.
Program Objective:
- Broaden students’ understanding of the world through the study of language and literature
