If students are drawn to the buzz of media and the potential of digital platforms, the digital media major is their launch pad to a fascinating career. Students dive into hands-on learning from day one with access to state-of-the-art studios and equipment, and explore TV and film, corporate video, public broadcasting, social media and other cutting-edge media industries. They can round out their experience with internships right in Milwaukee, or in other major media markets such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Atlanta. 

Here, students won’t just study media — they'll be crafting the stories and mastering the emerging technologies that will shape its future. And because students will be grounded in ethical values, they'll know how to use their skills and creativity to influence media landscapes with integrity and a commitment to social justice.
