Bachelor of Arts - Journalism

As a journalism major at Marquette, students will be stepping into a world where storytelling meets integrity and ethics. Explore the ins and outs of digital, broadcast and print media — and learn how to craft stories that aren't just heard, but that truly resonate and inform the public. 

 

Students will get experience with real reporting through internships at major media outlets and Marquette's student media organization, the Marquette Wire. Students will have plenty of opportunities to be hands-on with service-learning projects and state-of-the-art facilities. Students will hone their skills in research, interviewing and effective communication under the guidance of seasoned professionals who believe in doing journalism with a purpose. 

 

Graduates will be ready to play a major role in the ever-changing media landscape. And they'll know how to uncover the truth and use their voice to tell compelling stories that matter.
