Bachelor of Science - Computer Science

At Marquette, students will start their computer science courses right away, building expertise that they'll soon be able to apply directly to their career. Students will explore current methods, theories and software, as well as principles and foundations of computer science and mathematics. It’s preparation that will enable students to adapt to constantly evolving technologies and lead the development of the next advances in computer technology and applications.

This major is excellent preparation for careers in computer programming, systems analysis, database administration, consulting, engineering and biomedical sciences. And at Marquette, computer science is infused with ethical considerations, and a focus on how to best use technology for the greater good.
