About Master of Science - Applied Economics
The Master of Science in Applied Economics (MSAE) program provides training in technical skills needed by professional economists and analysts. The program emphasizes the application of advanced quantitative techniques to provide insights into specific business or policy challenges and allows students to specialize in various areas of economics to align coursework to their academic and professional goals.
Applied Learning: The MSAE curriculum is designed to prepare graduates to design, develop, and interpret economic models that solve real problems confronting business and government. Students learn economic theory and quantitative techniques and apply their knowledge and technical skills within MSAE courses, the program’s comprehensive exam, and a culminating professional project.
