About Dual Degree - Bachelor of Science - Sustainability Science & Master of Science - Sustainability Science
The Sustainability Science program is housed in the Department of Earth and Environmental Studies, but takes advantage of expertise across campus including the College of Science and Mathematics, College of Humanities and Social Science, School of Business, and the PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies.
With one additional year of study students can earn both their BS and MS degrees. Students take 12 credits of graduate-level coursework in the senior “swing year,” which are applied to both the BS and MS degrees. These credits are billed at undergraduate tuition rate, a savings of over $250 per credit! The 5th year focuses on either a research-based thesis or an applied internship project.
