About International Pathway - International Students from Outside Canada
Program Description
This program is made for international students currently living outside of Canada or the United States who is missing one or more admission requirements for their intended degree or diploma program. This program features:
- Complete MRU's highest level of the English Language Program to meet the English Language Proficiency requirement
- Complete missing high school course requirements for intended degree/diploma
- Complete post-secondary courses towards one's intended degree/diploma
- Meet competitive admission average for future degree/diploma
- Receive a conditional offer of admission to future degree/diploma
Other program features
- Full-time status for a study permit, 8 – 10 months (September to April, with May and June study optional)
- Small class sizes. Average of 31 students
- Access excellent support services
- Connect with international and Canadian students at the International Student Support Centre
- Participate in social and cultural activities
Note: This program is only open to students with no post-secondary experience.

Note: Tuition listed is based on the usual 8 months of study; it does not include the optional 2 months that can be taken in May and June. It is also based on the sample curriculum in which English Language Proficiency (Institutional) requirement is met.
- Tuition when English Language Proficiency (Institutional) requirement is met: $2,150 x 10 courses = $21,500
- Tuition when English Language Proficiency (Institutional) requirement is not met: $3,800 for English language program (level 4) + $2,150 x 5 courses ($10,750) = $14,550
