Foundation Studies prepares students for a successful transition to degree level study, providing a pathway to the first year of study of a bachelor’s degree at Murdoch University.
This course is suited to those who:
- need an entrance qualification for Murdoch University
- want to accelerate their university preparation after Year 11, or equivalent
- want to change their degree stream after Year 11, or equivalent
On successful completion of this Foundation Studies program, students will gain entry to the first year of any undergraduate degree at Murdoch University, with the exception of Veterinary Science, Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Education.
Double Degree - Bachelor of Criminology & Bachelor of Communication (B1362) (096886G)
Combine a Bachelor of Criminology degree with a Bachelor of Communication to gain skills and ways of thinking that will really give students a competitive edge in their career. Students could pursue a career in criminology or use their knowledge to become a crime journalist.
Students will investigate criminal behaviour, the science behind crime and legal studies while learning from industry experts as they fine-tune their presentation, language and writing skills.
Students can customise their degree to suit their interests – and their career aspirations. With the Bachelor of Criminology, students can choose to major in Legal Studies, Criminal Behaviour, Crime Science or White Collar and Corporate Crime. The Bachelor of Communication allows students to major in Journalism, Strategic Communication and Global Media and Communication.
