Bachelor of Science - Learning and Behavior Disorders - Elementary

The special education learning and behavior disorders (LBD) program is a bachelor of science degree program offered within the Department of Adolescent, Career, and Special Education. This program provides dual certification options in special education/elementary education or special education/middle school education. Graduates of this program will be prepared to pursue certification as a special education teacher (for grades primary through 12), elementary education teacher (for grades primary through 5), or middle school education teacher (for grades 5-9). Special education teachers in this program will work with students who have been identified as having learning disabilities, mild intellectual disabilities, or behavior disorders.
