Program Description

As the world moves away from fossil fuels for power towards sustainable power generation such as solar, wind, geothermal, and energy-efficient electrical equipment design, electrical engineering technologists will be at the forefront of positive change.
 
In this Electrical Engineering Technology program, students will learn how to design, commission, test, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and support systems. They also have the opportunity to specialize in power distribution or alternative energy production. It is strongly recommended that students have physics as one of their two mandatory sciences for admissions.

As the communications, electrical, and other critical infrastructure continues to evolve and expand, graduates' expertise will be in high demand.
