About Bachelor of Science - Biotechnology

Program Description

Students begin their studies with a core curriculum in humanities and research principles and practices. Then move on to courses in biology, microbiology, virology, genetics and genetic engineering, cell biology, bioprocessing, organic chemistry, environmental chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, bioprocessing, biotechnology, physics, calculus, and even entrepreneurial technology and innovation management.

Upon graduation, students will be prepared to meet the growing demand for professionals with a knowledge of biotechnology. Our major also fulfills all the requirements for entrance to medical school, or to pursue graduate studies in dentistry, podiatry, veterinary medicine, business, and other areas.
