Program Description
New York Tech's Bachelor of Science in Chemistry begins with a core curriculum in humanities and research principles and practices, followed by coursework in progressive levels of general chemistry, organic chemistry, quantitative and instrumental analysis, physical chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics, and a selection of electives. Our major also fulfills all the requirements for entrance to medical school, or to pursue graduate studies in dentistry, podiatry, veterinary medicine, and other areas.A stimulating and rigorous learning environment is designed to give students a highly interactive education and research experience. Faculty members are experts in their fields, offering students a range of real-world training opportunities in areas such as biochemistry, analytical chemistry, computational chemistry, and stereochemistry.
