College Diploma - Interior Design Technology

Interior Design Technologists translate designs concepts into technical drawings that ultimately result in the creation of the built environment. In this program, students will learn the relationships between functional, technical and aesthetic elements in interior environments. They will be trained in products and materials, construction methods, building services and more. Most drawings will be completed on the computer but you will also learn free-hand sketching techniques to create construction drawings, floor plans and more. This program is designed for students who have an interest in drawing, an aptitude for three dimensional thinking or a strong desire to learn how things are constructed.

International Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Pathway

International students looking to study in Canada can take advantage of a 4-year degree pathway that allows them to earn a technology diploma and a Bachelor of Technology in Management (BTech) degree from NAIT. This pathway also makes them eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP), enabling them to stay in Canada and work after graduation. Students will start with an in-demand technology diploma before continuing into the BTech degree program.

Bachelor of Technology

The BTech program builds upon students' technology diplomas, helping them develop skills in leadership, problem solving, business strategy, and risk management. The combination of their technology diploma and BTech degree will open up more employment and career opportunities in various industries and roles, such as project management, operations management, and sustainability management.
