In marketing, people often refer to the “four Ps”: price, place, promotion, and product. The Marketing Communications degree has a strong focus on the promotion part of the marketing mix.
The program helps students understand and develop the strategies that are used by companies to reach their target market through various types of communication.
The faculty use interactive, hands-on learning opportunities to help students develop a unified and seamless experience for consumers to interact with the brand. This program Includes all aspects of marketing communication such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations, direct marketing, and social media.
At Northwood University, students will start their major classes of the freshman year. In fact, all Northwood University Marketing Communications students get to design a marketing communications campaign for an actual company during their first year. Alumni from this program are making a significant impact in the field, both domestically and on the global stage. They’ve found success and are contributing their expertise to renowned companies.
